The Cairo Codex of the Prophets, also known as the Codex Cairensis or Codex Prophetarum Cairensis, is one of the oldest known biblical manuscripts and a key resource for the study of the Hebrew Bible.
Since the 1980s, its whereabouts have been unknown, and the existing facsimile edition does not meet the standards required for detailed consultation due to the poor quality of its images.
Thanks to the high-resolution photographs used by the Hebrew Bible team at the CSIC for their research and critical edition, this valuable manuscript is once again available and accessible to scholars and interested readers.
